As a follow-up to the symposium held in March, a Diversity Forum is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 29, in the New University Union's Multipurpose Room.
This second University diversity activity will be designed on a divisional and college basis. It will allow for further refinement of choices and selection of strategies and accountability measures for each unit of the University, according to Arthurlene Towner, associate provost.
"Please save the date and plan to attend," Towner said. "Each University division and college is expected to have a representative group of participants at the Diversity Forum for it to result in meaningful outcomes."
This is a campuswide initiative. All members of the campus community-students, faculty and staff-are urged to participate.
Reserve a seat at the Diversity Forum by contacting Audrey Wade at Ext. 5-3223 or . Further information about the forum is available by calling Terry Jones at Ext. 5-3184.
